About Huck's Guide

Huck's Guide is a local directory and guide for Bonners Ferry and Boundary County, Idaho. It is here to make one thing easier: finding a good local business for the work a rural place needs.

Septic tank pumping, well pump repair, firewood, tree service, excavation, snow removal and the rest. Every listing is a real local business, and every listing shows the date we last checked it.

Who runs it

Huck's Guide is run from Boundary County by a small team. We keep our own names off the site, so the pages stay about the businesses and the work, not about us. Anything we sign comes from the Huck's Guide team.

How listings are checked

Before a business goes on the site, we confirm, from at least two separate places, that it is a real business and that it does the kind of work it is listed for. The date we did that is the "Last checked" date on its card. It is not a review, and nobody can pay for it. Read how we check listings.

How it works

Browse by job to see the local businesses for the work, each with its own listing facts. The work, price and schedule are between you and the business.
